The Old Forge (Wednesday 13th November 2019)

This toadstool turned up in the garden today during Gardening Wednesday, which involved more bulb planting by Refna. I have also been working on moving furniture, units and cables back into position in the outbuilding, and also replenishing and cleaning out the bird feeders.

Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart - I Ain't Superstitious (recorded 14 May 1968, Abbey Road)
Those of you watching Guilt on TV at the moment will know that one of the main characters runs a record shop and has quite dogmatic musical opinions. One of these is a strong defence of the early work of Rod Stewart, as voiced in this day's broadcast episode. He may have had in mind the solo albums that ran almost concurrently with his time in the Faces, but it gives me a chance to play this Howlin' Wolf cover from Jeff Beck's album Truth.
