The Acer is doing it's thing.  Pink in the spring; a remarkably mundane green during most of the year, and then phoom in the autumn.

Tree surgeons in tomorrow to deal with a couple of dead trees, some over-large laurel, and to trim the smaller trees either side of this so it can have a bit more room.

And yes, this view is only obtainable from our bathroom!
