It Felt Like Only Yesterday

It was a splendid sunrise over Barry Docks this morning from my hotel room. I travelled down to South Wales yesterday and had the fantastic experience of meeting up with an old school friend for dinner. We had not seen each other for 23 years but it felt like only yesterday.

Today I did a training presentation for a customer and after my 5.5 hour drive yesterday and my 8 hours presenting today I couldn’t face the drive home so I have come to stay at Dad’s. Unfortunately as it took me nearly 3.5 hours to get here with the bad traffic, I haven’t really been very good company and ended up falling asleep in front of the tv this evening! We’ll have time to catch up tomorrow before I head home I am sure.
