So that’s my trip pretty well done apart from the arduous journey home. My first flight takes me to Jakarta, next one to Dubai and the final flight lands in Glasgow at 11:30 on Saturday morning.

It has been a wonderful, humbling, memorable experience. Meeting Kadria’s family was the highlight of the trip and I hope to see them again in the near future.

The toughest moment will be saying goodbye to Fred and Kadria in the morning. I’m not looking forward to that bit. I’ve been dreading it for the last few days!
