As good as it gets

What a day.  Cold, wet and miserable.  At least we didn't have the snow that I've seen one or two other people blipping.  We had to go to the supermarket this morning and the roads were a little flooded in places (only where there were dips in the road or blocked drains; nothing like the floods some places in the North have had this week) but that is as far as we went so after that we battened down the hatches and stayed warm with a good book.  Well, a book, anyway.
