in the middle of the night

I looked at the tripod this morning and thought; will I take it? And decided not!

I decided to head south and take a morning shot rather than an evening shot.

But then I decided that on the way home from the library the moon was too lovely to ignore

But it was too bright..... look. It looks like day light .... but heavens it was lovely to stand there in the freezing cold and see more and more stars the longer we stood; but dang I wish I'd gone with my gut and taken the tripod.
