In a bit of a whirl

What a dreadful day, wet and miserable. So dreadful for those who have been flooded, and with no chance of drying out at this time of the year.

Whilst defrosting one of the freezers, I set up my camera to take pictures dropping stones into a glass of coloured water. I managed to avoid damaging the glass but my aim was a bit rubbish and I’ll have to try another day, with better lighting.

This afternoon JJ and I went to see The Good Liar with Helen Mirren and Ian McEwan. It was a good watch but cold in the cinema and I was glad to get back to the car to warm my feet.
