Ambleside Harbour Area

.... where I had lunch before driving on to Kendal. Just got back after our Trustees meeting for the Boardman Tasker Award for Mountain Literature followed by a lovely meal at the The Moon. All these meals out are catching up on me, I am eating twice as much as when I am at home..... storing fat for the Winter months ahead!

Tomorrow the Award result will be announced for those of you who like a good read. The Award is for literature with a mountain theme, not mountaineering, although sometimes a mountaineering book wins.
