Old eyes

A day of differences

I started with a 3 mile run, something I couldn't have (or have wanted to have) done even in my teens

Then this afternoon a family trip to the opticians (we are a be-speckled family) ended the day with my first official varifocal prescription - my eyes are now officially old (and my purse £300 lighter). Tiddler got away with no specs on his first proper visit, but eldest is now properly (rather than 'just') shortsighted and will have to wear his glasses all the time
