Gray Wolf

Not the one you were thinking, but rather a friend of mine...

I left the house very early this morning to meet friends to ride motorcycles up to the panhandle of Florida for lunch.

I knew I wouldn't have time to get out afterwards with my main camera to blip one of my usual birds, so I tossed my little Canon S95 in my pocket and away I went.

We were at a fuel stop and I just happened to snap a pic of Gray Wolf (Jim). He is a very interesting fellow. Lost his leg in a non-motorcycle related accident many years ago, but has not let that slow him any.

He rides a three-wheeled motorcycle that he fabricated from a conventional two wheeler. A very impressive job of engineering, to say the least! He farms 160 acres by himself, and is active in many veteran'a affairs, as well as other charities.

He is someone I am proud to call "friend"!
