Two Seasons

It is Autumn and we still have some golden leaves on display but it certainly feels like winter. Here at the bottom of our garden is a little Oak tree which is growing rapidly and it seems reluctant to part with it’s leaves.
We let this tree grow from a sapling after a huge Oak that was here before us was removed by our neighbour. That allowed a small holly tree to flourish and the two are now side by side.
The holly is full of berries this year. I thought the two looked nice together in the brief spell of sun we got after heavy rain first thing.
A pre Christmas dinner with ex colleagues tonight, hope it’s warm! Have a good weekend everyone.
