So, perhaps that is not quite how the song goes. However, a day with a great friend topped off with cake in a mug was exactly the sort of thing that makes fourth year that little bit more joyful! Especially when it is a friend I hadn't seen in four months :)

Admittedly the day started with a trip to the GP to deal with a small chin explosion (a spot gone wrong, as it turns out...my skin needs to realise it's 22!) and then there was something about a briefing for "the event" that I'm volunteering at.

But still...the rest of the day was just great! :)
