orange calcite

This is a beautiful piece of orange calcite that sits on my mantel piece beside a basket of ivy and ferns.
I love orange (in case you hadn't guessed by now) and this piece of calcite has been made into a tealight holder, so when its alight it really glows!

I have a huge collection of minerals/crystals. I used to work in a hippy shop and collected many pieces over the years. Maybe I'll photo some soon.

Meanwhile I intend to go and get some outdoor shots...
