Even the snails are heading for higher ground!

Spotted this little snail .... it was trying to take refuge from the rain ..... it had climbed all the way to the top of the window .... not sure how much shelter it would find there! :-)

Unfortunately Mum isn't so good today ....... the doctor has been & put her on steroids as well as the antibiotics ..... if she gets worse it will be into hospital!

We are still on Flood Alert ...... so no worse ....... so far ...... but it has been pouring with rain again ..... that won't help the river levels! They did say on the local news that the river is the highest it has ever been!

I did get lucky as it finally stopped pouring with rain shortly before I had to go out to the dentist ...... all okay with my check-up ...... it even stayed dry until after I got back home! Result!

Hubby has come down with a nasty cold ...... I'm hoping I don't catch it too!

What's that saying ....... "it never rains but it pours" ..... think that sums things up all round at the moment!
