Spirit of Salford and Long Service awards

I am somewhere in the mix in this shot.

A good event at Buile Hill. I received my long service award - 25 years at Salford City Council. A lot has happened since 1994.

And I was also there with our choir, opening the event. Two songs from 1994 - I’ll Stand by You (Pretenders) and Can You Feel the Love Tonight (from the Lion King, which I’ve somehow missed). And one from 2015 - When We Were Young (Adele), which seemed appropriate as well (although in my case “younger” rather than “young” would be appropriate for 1994).
