Lesson planning... 1875 style!

We had a Victorian workshop at school today for Year 6.

The man running it had a copy of this book which gave young, inexperienced teachers in 1875 some ideas to introduce everyday objects, animals etc (such as wolves and potatoes!) to their pupils.

How things have changed!
