Kinder and Kinder

LongLegs’ pain was pretty awful last night and he didn’t sleep. Because he’s allergic to morphine and morphine is the best there is, pain management is very tricky.

In the HDU, he saw the pain team and they tried another drug.

By 5pm, he was finally able to doze, drink without being sick, move into a chair without being sick and then able even to eat.

Final drains and arterial line out tomorrow. And then hopefully up to a ward.

And back at home, NoaNoa has a full-on dose of tonsillitis ... Aaaaaahh ... but I’m grateful he’s old enough to feel awful on his own :-)
