The Border

That white tiered wall-like structure is the beginning of the border crossing between Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, California. You can see David in the distance before he starts to ascend the ramp. The line of people walking across was relatively short, as we had started out early. After winding our way back and forth up the ramp, we then started walking across for quite a long way, until we ground to a halt for a while, as the guards allowed a large group of undocumented people to pass through to a cage-like structure. After that we were unable to see what happened to them and we were not allowed to take pictures. We passed through without a hitch and commenced our trip back home to Texas.
