Isn't this the greatest . . .!

Today was  phenomenal  at the beach !   Two monk seals snoozing on the beach!   When I realized that there weren't any rocks in that area and walked over to investigate, they were waking up, rolling over, and soon entered the water.   After a few (playful?) roars and tussles at the water's edge, they swam away.   Whilst walking down, I spotted whales blowing and showing tails.   Also a few smaller "whales" a little closer in, which a lady identified for me as spinner dolphins!!   And then  . .    a favourite gravity-defying-wave-catcher appeared, caught him running into the water.  So he's in the extra!   And there was a photo shoot going on over on the rocks and wedding photos being taken far beyond the seals at the other end of the beach.   And waves were back up a little, and playful, the sun was shining, the sky was blue with interesting clouds, winds were light, the beach deeply scalloped in places, but gentle slope in others.   It was  phenomenal  at Sandy Beach this morning!!    Wish you were here.
