Not C in N
Most of the day at Granton meeting enthusiastic staff and then sitting in on a meeting. Home via Cameron Toll to complete the transaction that Straiton failed. Still cold outside.
An evening spent avoiding C in N while sending follow up emails, with Jools Holland as mood music. Then on to the 'Hidden Lives' episode on the NE blackening tradition. That was me on a cold February morning in 1978, tied up in Huntly Square. And the young lads in Inverurie being driven through the town in the back of pick ups with a cacophonous accompaniment. It was quiter and warmer but just as gunky blackening when #1 son and fiancee were made green in a (much) warmer blackening in KL in 2013.
But there was also news. I'd missed a call from E whilst at Cameron Toll. A later message from her son was to tell me she'd fallen in the garden and was in ERI with 2 broken wrists. Ouch!
