Moss

Working on aerating the lawn this morning I noticed all the moss growing along the top of the low wall at the back of the garden.  The spores had clearly already escaped but had left behind this jumble of tiny pods that had released them.

While working on the lawn I noticed I'd become a bit of a 'worm-charmer'; loads of them were coming to the surface as I was pushing my spikes into the soil.  I did take a picture of a load of them but though this might go down better.
