THANK YOU AND WELL DONE KNOTTMAN2

A really lovely day today, thanks to Knottman2.  We had a Blipmeet at Lingholm Kitchen by Derwentwater near Keswick. 

The Blipmeet was set up to great Hilary'sView before she returned home to Switzerland.  It was so lovely to meet you Hilary.

I went up the M6 and arrived nice and early, as I always do (just old habits).  The intention was that I had hoped the weather was going to show the mists rising up out of the lake - sadly no just great and very low cloud all day - but it didn't rain and it wasn't cold so great.

I'd only just sat down with my coffee with Knottman and Mrs K arrived, so that was lovely.  Then after a short while everyone started to arrived.  Much chat, meeting old friends and making news ensued with two gorgeous four legged friends as well, Missy and Misty. 

We then just strolled down to the jetty and took several photos, waved to a "flock" of kayakers, saw the Alpacers being walked.  Then walked  on down to Nichol End Marina for more photographs and lunch.  From memory my fellow Blippers there were:
Knottman2, Mrs K, Hilary's View (our Guest of Honour), Dotty3, Trevorearthy, Biblinros, Derwentlass, Marpaul with Misty, Spots of Time Into the Hills with Missy, Nothing Gets Lost and for part of the time Spots of Time. 

We spent a lovely couple of hours in there getting to know each other and having a great time.  

I decided to drive back down through The Lakes on the way home - boy was it extremely busy.  Keswick and Ambleside were absolutely heaving.  However I got home nice and safe.
