Lower Ogden Reservoir

We spent today over in Lancashire supporting Daniel who was taking part in the Tour of Pendle Fell Race.
The race passes Lower Ogden Reservoir on the way back into Barley where the race starts and finishes.
Several hundred runners set off on the 27km race which literally went "up hill and down dale". Fortunately there was no rain, but the hardy runners had to contend with plenty of mud and water on the way. Today's extra shows some of the runners, including Daniel #246 who completed it in a very respectable 3hrs and 4 minutes. You can also see the runners paddling in the water after finishing the race to wash the mud off!
A very welcome drink was subsequently had in the local Barley Mow Inn.
