Farm in the mist

It was a misty start going into work but the sun came out later for a while, at least sufficiently long to encourage me to go for a walk.  I spent some time trying to sort my leaky roof in France at a distance.  A friend was up on the roof doing some repairs and maintenance but we must wait until the next heavy rain to see if the zinc rainwater channel is leaking. That means the repairs inside cannot start yet.  I also had to arrange for someone to collect an insurance cheque from my post box which they had refused to send to me in England.  Of course, they sent the cheque signed for and now I hope the Post Office will accept a photocopy of my authorisation and passport and give it to my friend.
