The last few miles.

I left my hotel in Kuta, Bali at 09:30 a.m. on Friday and arrived home at 1:30 p.m. today.

Three flights over a distance of 7,832 miles from Denpasar to Jakarta to Dubai and finally Glasgow, 18 hours in the air, quite a few hours waiting in airports, no sleep, a temperature swing of 30°C and lots of airline meals at the wrong times.

A trip I will never forget with so many highlights...
The Indonesian people.
Malioboro - the most fun a street photographer could hope for.
A wonderful new family.
Gojek rides - not for the faint-hearted.
Three stunning temples.
One active volcano.
Close encounters with marine life.
One earthquake followed by a Tsunami warning.

It's a bit of a shock coming home but it was nice to see this view with the dusting of snow this afternoon. When you see this view you know you are home.

It really is time to "Rest & Be Thankful" before I return to work next week.
