Take the High Road

There's a 1959 British Transport Film about the building of the Cruachan Power Station and the transport and communications used to take the materials to the dam site.  I've watched it many times and always been tempted to build a small cameo of one scene which particularly interested me.  For the last couple of months I've been looking out for an old railway coach and some lorry cabs to use in the building of the little diorama.  Today a friend brought me an old railway carriage which I'm going to modify and I started cleaning the castings for the three lorries I'm going to build.  They'll be in the red British Road Services livery of the period.
