Perhaps the busiest day of the year in Ambleside. Father Christmas cruises, lantern procession, Christmas lights switch on, fireworks, food and drink, entertainment .......... and a balloon seller. 

I was too busy to experience the atmosphere this year but did get a blip on my way back from Tesco.
