George Square first thing this morning ....

..... when all was calm. 
Throughout the day the square has been prepared for tonight's 'lighting up' festivities. Roads have been closed all day, barriers are in place and the security guys are very much in evidence.

The crowds will be swarming in to the city centre to enjoy the entertainments before the big switch on. The weather conditions are good, if rather cold, but it is the near the end of November!
