A Prickly Pair

Yesterday was the couple's club championship tournament called "The Prickly Pair". We took third place in the net division (not a prayer for gross!) The top two were tied at -7, we were -4. 

Since it was "serious business" the camera was left behind. Following that, we were over at friends house to watch the Utah/UCLA game. Utah walked all over UCLA. Good food, good result on the game and good company. Needless to say, not blip was had yesterday.

Tony wasn't feeling up to snuff this morning but tried to play anyway. We made it through 6 holes before he had to call it quits. Of course I was playing lights out, but there are other days.

The blip shows the ocotillo (spindly one) and the saguaro catci in the chilly, early morning light.

I am grateful for a little down time from our busy week. It will be good to rest and relax the day away.
