Twig sculpture on Portobello beach

We were planning a day of rest indoors today.

When we saw the sunshine, however, we changed our minds. Instead this afternoon we set off on a cycle ride to Portobello and back again through Holyrood Park. There were a few twig sculptures on the beach at Portobello, one of which I have blipped.

Then, after our return from the bike ride, we popped up the road to buy a few bits and pieces on our 'in town' shopping list: a pencil sharpener; moth balls; a pair of trousers; and a box.

So it's been quite a busy day after all. That said, I have done no work today :-)

Exercise today: 13 mile bike ride; walking (8219 steps).
