Today's the day …………………… to insulate

Rob and Anna are in the middle of doing some pretty advanced DIY stuff to insulate one of the bedrooms and the roof space in their house.

It's not for the faint-hearted to strip away the lath and plaster walls right back to the stone, line with very thick insulation boards and then re-plaster.  It's also a bit miserable to be doing it when the weather is freezing cold and all the heating is non-operational.  But it will make such a difference when it's all done.
