Bridge over the Clyde

Walking over the bridge across the Clyde, spotted these engrave pillars, which are remnants of an old railway bridge, demolished in the 1960s.  The legend still clearly visible on the granite column is "All Greatness Stands Firm in the Storm"  .  An apt motto for our troubled times :-))
