Country Courtesy

I stopped at a country store to get a cup of coffee and as I walked out I was faced with this sign and the pay phone next to it. I was taken with them and felt the urgent need to blip.

The sign felt so...country folksy. And the pay phone conveniently located at the local store brought back memories of my teen years.

Whenever I went out, my psrents always made sure I had a dime in my shoe in case I had to use a pay phone in an emergency. It's hard to find them these days (especially in working order) and I was tickled to see it.

There were tables and chairs inside an airy room facing outdoors, so I decided to hang around the place a little while longer and drink my coffee there instead of rushing off.

Might as well enjoy the country feeling on a bright, brisk (42F) winter day!
