Parent and Child

My knowledge of swans is not sufficient to know whether these are male or female, but I do know that one is an adult and the other a cygnet:-)  They were part of a group swimming serenely on the Loch of Lidores this afternoon.

We had gone out for a drive to allow me to take some photos of something other than the garden, but the sun was so low in the sky even at 2.30 pm that I could hardly see a thing!  I took some shots of the loch and then we headed home again as it was no fun for the driver  either.  A couple more shots in Extras.
