Dusk - Shreveport Yacht Club

It was an absolutely gorgeous day here in Shreveport - brilliant blue skies and mid-60’s F. We went for a lovely walk at the Walter Jacobs Memorial Nature Park. Later we went to the Shreveport Yacht Club, where my sister and brother-in-law keep their boat. We had a beverage and a nibble and went out on the docks to enjoy the sunset. The Bald Cypress grow in the swampy, shallow water areas of the lake and are protected species. Here the dock is built around the Cypress tree.
