Merganser Play Date

The pond was full of Canada geese this morning and then all of a sudden a little band of mergansers showed up and chased each other around for a bit.  The geese moved to the other end of the pond and left the mergansers to have their fun and then all of a sudden everybody disappeared.  For the rest of the day, nothing stirred on the water.  I appreciated their appearance in time for a blip.
