Australia 2019 - Day 38 - Cradle Mountain

Wow, what an exciting last day in Australia we have had.

It started with the pademelon bringing her baby for us to see at our lodge this morning (the extra was taken from our cabin window!!).

Then on the drive down to Hobart airport we stopped off at Deloraine to stretch our legs with a walk by the river and Kwchas spotted the platypus. I had held out very little hope of seeing one during our holiday as I’d always assumed they were very rare and elusive so was absolutely thrilled to see it.
