Hanover Blipmeet .....

Yay!  The day has finally arrived that we get to spend time with justbe, T, DollyDoug and Merry Mischief!

After a quick breakfast at our hotel we drove the short distance to Dogcorner for our blipmeet with Betsey, T and Dolly!  And what a fantastic day we had, too!

We arrived at Dogcorner at around 10:30 and had some delicious muffins and coffee.  Then it was on to a wonderful sightseeing South Shore coastal tour ... which included Cohasset, Scituate and Nantasket. The day was brisk and windy but we still had a fantastic day!

Our first stop was to see a small cranberry bog ..... most of the cranberries had been harvested but we could still see some floating on the flooded cranberry fields. 

We went to Scituate Lighthouse next .... see extra for a picture of the beautiful Betsey!  Our stop on the tour was the beach at Nantasket where we walked up the beach for a while searching for shells and rocks. I found some nice shells and possibly a piece of seaglass. 

We spend the rest of the evening back at Dogcorner where we had some delicious hot soup to warm our bones! And some pistachio cake made by yours truly.  

It truly was a wonderful day spent in the company of marvelous friends that we are so grateful to have met here on blipfoto.  ♥
