A Case Of "Waste Not Want Not" Gone Horribly Wrong

Oh dear!  This morning I decided it was time to tidy up and reorganize the fridge ... and way down deep in the very back, I unearthed this unfortunate specimen.  It used to be half a lime back in the dim, distant past.  I'd carefully put it in a zippered plastic bag to save for future use, and then clearly forgotten it ever existed!  It has now been consigned to the rubbish bin with my best wishes for an eternal and peaceful rest.
