There and back again

New Bridge at Lamberts Castle

To gain access to the wooded area from the main gate at Lamberts Castle, meant the climbing of a bank and jumping down into the wood. As one got less supple,  this entrance became more difficult until it didn't get used at all,  So it was with joy that when we visited today we found that the National Trust had set too and built this nifty little bridge  over the bank and also at the other end of the wood the old stile was replace by a nice new gate,
Thank you National Trust
