It's been a lovely weekend but I've appreciated the quiet times today. 

A frosty morning turned into a sunny day. Not warm enough for the washing to dry fully on the line but good for shadowy photos. 

During a walk to the postbox after lunch I discovered temporary traffic lights and men from United Utilities digging a hole beside the main road. Instead of taking the car out later and risking a queue of traffic I walked along to the garden centre to buy a calendar. The bird seed can wait for another day ....... I wasn't carrying that home. The Christmas department was very busy.
