I hadn't been down a particular path at the nature reserve for some time, so today I decided to have a change to my usual routine and I was pleased to see the Robin was still up to his tricks.  His habit is to hop out onto the path and then proceed to flutter to and fro, throw in a song or too and pose nicely;  I was annoyed with myself because I didn't have anything for him so after a while (and who can blame him) he flew upwards and out of range of a good shot.  I really ought to always carry something for the birds in my pocket but unfortunately today I had nothing.
