Brrr!
A productive little morning on the computer. At some point, though, I remembered that it gets dark quite early now, and so I decided to take a short drive over to Kelvinhead with a view to walking a stretch of the Canal.
What I hadn't quite expected to see was that most of the length of the Canal that I did walk - from Kelvinhead to Underwood Lock - was frozen over. There was a section at Kelvinhead itself where a variety of ducks and swans were enjoying a swim in the water, but that was it in terms of the splashy stuff.
It was also rather cold, but that did not come as a surprise. The setting sun provided another dip in the temperature, as well as my Blip for today.
From Underwood Lock I walked back up the farm road to the main Bonnybridge to Kilsyth road just in time to catch a bus back to where I had parked my car.
