VIEW DOWN THE HILL SEEN FROM THE BALCONY

A dark day!! Rain!! No squirrel in the garden, hardly any bird.
A late start, following the news, knitting, no reading, thinking about our travel day soon, no walking, but a drive into town for some food shopping.

This is my entry for the Mono Monday Challenge with the theme: rest, work and play. Huge thanks to MerrilHope for hosting.
Piet Hein suggested I could write that it was cold and dark outside, as you can see in the picture, and with such weather it is  great to have some time to rest, to work, and to play a nice game inside the house.
He can easily say this, because he did the laundry, but we both know that we played no game whatsoever in the afternoon. 
And for the Moody Mono November 19 challenge? Huge thank to hobbs for hosting, and with some imagination there could be down there in the hidden house a drama for a Film Noir develop. Thanks to skeena for the opportunity.
