Wasn't I silly to think I could just plug

my computer into the TV and it would work!!!

Another day of doing stuff - I gaily took one of the hDMI leads out of the back of the TV  and guess what I couldn't get the other lead back in.  When KG got home he couldn't either  - we managed to find as splitter and that sorted that.  So plan B as I couldn't get TV and computer to speak to each other download it it a USB stick and use the USB port in the video   GRRR (for Amanda)
So looking for wires and decided to get rid of the old VGAs etc and after tea when I didn't have a blip these sufficed with a inverted filter on them 
Sums up my day tangled  wires and addled brain
A lovely day but I didn't get to see much of it
