Disaster!

Backblipped 18th November

Another breakfast at home - mustn't make this a habit!

Then we planned a walk round Fishermans Creek at Helford to try and shelter from the wind and rain, however it was torrential rain when we got there so just planned a wee wander - which turned into the original walk.

But minus the map! And me wearing the wrong footwear.

Thankfully James has a much better sense of direction than me so we made it round. Though I ended up to my ankles in mud!

Drove down to the Lizard afterwards and had Anne's pasties in the car in the pouring rain - another one thankfully pre-ordered as they'd completely sold out by the time we'd got there!

Then felt we had to walk down to Lizard Point as we've never ever driven there in all our years so faced a rather soggy and windy walk there but warmed up with coffee in the cafe.

Then an even soggier and windier walk back up to the car!

Home, Bannagrams and log fire followed by Rick Steins for dinner - and the first time not sitting downstairs with Bill as we left him at home! Very nice to be upstairs and got a complementary sticky toffee pudding as my mash and sauce which, whilst tasty, were no more than tepid!

Then I spent far too long trying to get a picture of the lights round the harbour like I'd accidentally got last Friday!
