The weather outside is frightful

I was a tad rough this morning. The wine last night was so lovely, we (prompted by me) decided to have a bit more. Wrong.

I’m supposed to be an adult.

So I struggled through the night - I struggle to sleep when I know I’m drunk ... and I could kick myself for drinking too much and leaving myself awake all night. Dang

Then I woke up and discovered the world has entered a new ice age overnight.

Big knickers, vest, three layers, scarf, hat, gloves. Boots.

I was freezing- and still took time out to walk on the beach to marvel at the beauty of a frozen world.

It helped that the heating had been off in the office all night and it took til 11 before I could take my gloves off!
