'A Sunday Drive'
This afternoon we decided to go for a drive up to Olinda which is a small town located at the top of Mt. Dandenong. It's the highest mountain range in the Melbourne area and occasionally gets a couple of days a year when it snows there.
There is also a great cafe 'Pie In The Sky' which sell fantastic gourmet pies and even though we got there for a late lunch at around 1:45pm it was still packed, the line was out the front door for a table so we decided to get some takeaways and eat on the park bench seat just outside. I had a vegetarian pastie (not by choice, just that they didn't have any hot Cornish pasties which I would have preferred) and the kids and Mrs R had pies (apparently the best in Melbourne, but they might be ringing their own bell)
It was also quite cool up there today, and for the first time this summer I had to put on my jumper.
Haven't seen any sun at all today, but still no rain!!
A couple of more shots HERE if you're interested.
