Christchurch Morning

Got up super early to meet dad for an early morning surf at Sumner beach. Was a good wee wave for me as I haven't been out in maybe 4 years! Got covered in seaweed though, never seen anything like it.
Then stopped in at a friends place to say hi, then out for coffee we went. I spotted this very clever bit if art, and how very true it is!

We are a city on jelly!

I wish this heat would go away, 30 degrees again today! Starting to get delirious.
