Tawny Frogmouth expo

Turns out a whole family of Tawny Frogmouths reside in our backyard.

There were four in close proximity to one another this evening. I blipped some time back about what I thought was a lone bird.

These two seemed very curious about my iPhone 5 but posed for me completely undeterred by my presence!

PS. A great blip to commemorate 25 years in Australia (albeit with a brief 9-year sojourn to Singapore). Arrived in this country as a political refugee from Thatcherite Britain on 13 January 1988.
